The Museum has re-opened with revised opening times 1.00pm – 4.00pm, Saturday and Sundays only.
We celebrate Gloucestershire’s rich aviation heritage from the early days of flight, through the birth of the Jet Age to the present day. Although not based in Cheltenham, our museum is very popular with Cheltenham residents.
Jet Age Museum is staffed only by volunteers, some of whom flew in aircraft we have on display.
You can learn about our aircraft, projects and artefacts online, but there is no substitute for a visit, our knowledgeable volunteers are on hand throughout your tour to answer any questions you may have. We do not charge for admission or car parking.
We need your help. The museum and our restoration work is run entirely by volunteers and relies on donations. We are currently fund raising to fit out our new extension. It will provide an engineering area with viewing section, lecture/presentation/education room, library, art gallery and disabled access lift to the mezzanine floor.
We aim to preserve the past and inspire the future.
Thank you for your support and good luck!
